Marlene Sidaway was born in Thornaby-on-Tees and has had a long career working in theatres all over the country in productions such as The Madness of Esme & Shaz, Hedda Gabler and The Dearly Beloved. Her extensive work on radio includes twelve years as Miss Lewis in King St Junior and her many TV and film credits include the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice, Cadfael, Love on a Branch Line, Coronation Street and the courtroom series Accused.
