Notes on a Drowning

Alex knows if she takes on another pro bono case she risks getting fired - the firm is haemorrhaging money. But when she hears Rosa's desperate voice at the other end of the phone line she knows she has to help: the body of Rosa's teenage sister Natalia has been dragged from the Thames. Alex can't help but think of her own missing little sister. The police say that Natalia took a cocktail of drink and drugs and fell overboard on a party boat. But that sounds nothing like the sister Rosa knows... Alex continues to dig discovering a shocking connection between the drowned girl and her own missing sister. But when Alex's home is broken into and someone she loves is attacked she begins to realise that the truth could come with a high price. Perhaps even her life.
