Lucia in London

Lucia Lucas revels in her position of Queen of Riseholme. However when her husband Peppino's cantankerous elderly Auntie Amy finally shuffles off this mortal coil the couple comes into a substantial inheritance - including a London house. Delighted at the prospect of a City second home Lucia proceeds to establish a luxurious retreat there and is soon ingratiating herself into London society. But Riseholme does not take kindly to being snubbed and soon Lucia is fighting on two fronts - clawing her way up through the social ranks in Town and maintaining her sovereignty back in the village. . .
